No follow links. Do they have any authority?
Most of the novice webmasters who have just heard of link building goes for ignorant linking rather than looking for some necessary parameters of it defined by search engines. Let’s start from root, for what you are linking; for traffic or for ranking? Now some people say for both some for traffic and some for rankings but this is what where they become wrong as to get traffic from these links is just a foolish idea. Yah I don’t say, traffic doesn’t come this way but webmasters should try for rankings rather than traffic by building link campaigns.
For that very linking which can help you to attain a good search engine ranking is not one to post in forums or blog comments which is always (no-follow). Now what is no follow link in the eyes of search engines, nothing more than wasting of credibility in search engines crawling? Then what is correct?
Correct one is called natural linking or link baiting. From this I have just tried to put a basic rule of linking for novices to get some good ranking by avoiding foolish link building campaigns.
